FAQ
Answers to common questions about visits, booking and policies.
What happens at my first visit?
Your first visit starts with a conversation about your health, your goals and your history. For Chinese medicine visits we also look at your tongue and feel your pulse. You will leave with a clear plan and, when it fits, your first treatment.
How do I book?
Book any visit online. You will choose a service and a time, complete a short intake, and get a confirmation by email.
Do you offer telehealth?
Yes. The Calm Skin Program is available by telehealth anywhere in Texas, and some program follow-ups can be done by video.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please give at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations and no-shows are charged a $50 fee, and arriving more than 15 minutes late may mean rescheduling.
Why do you keep a card on file?
A card on file lets us process visits, memberships and any late-cancellation fee. Card details are stored securely by our payment processor.
Do you take insurance?
Please call us at (512) 893-3376 to ask about insurance and documentation for reimbursement.
Is acupuncture safe during pregnancy?
Tell us if you are pregnant or trying to conceive. We adjust treatment and herbs for pregnancy and will let you know if a service is not suitable.
